飞梦英语社

 

第一部分：社团简介

英语社于2008年，由原高二（8）班朱蕾同学成立，并交由高二（9）班金成浩同学管理，现任社长为高一（22）班钟夏妮同学。社团名为“FLAME”，取其音译为“飞梦”，意在放飞我们青春的梦想。本社活动是为了在全校范围内营造一个学习英语的良好氛围，传播英语文化，为同学们的全面发展和对外交流努力贡献。本社社员热心帮助同学们解决学习英语过程中的困难，积极用英语交流，为同学们做表率。

第二部分：社团章程

1.      考勤制度

 

每一次活动时成员须在考勤表上签到，并根据社员考勤情况给予合格或不合格评价。对于长期不参与活动的成员否认其社员资格，对于经常参与活动的社员给予优秀评价。

 

2.      社团活动展示制度

 

对于英语社活动成果的展示，由社长及部分有能力的社员商讨拟定方式。

现已确定有英语演讲、英文诗歌、汉英互译等展示方式。有成果展示的社员将确定为合格社员由年级部认定给予学分认定。

 

3.      活动秩序

 

活动由社长或部分有能力的社员主持，经社团内部商讨也会邀请老师主持特殊活动。活动期间将鼓励社员用英语进行讨论，提倡英语交流。对于以消极态度参与活动的社员将予以记过处分，多次记过否认其社员资格。

每次活动后将清扫活动场地，保证场地干净整洁。活动将依照学校及中学生日常行为规范有关要求进行，保证规范有序。

 

4.      组织机构

 

本社设社长一名，副社长两名，宣传委员一名，劳动委员一名，社长助手三名。并欢迎有能力的成员参与社团管理。由年级部监督社团管理工作。

 

 

 

第三部分：工作报告

 

 

我现已荣幸地当选为英语社社长，我对于担任此职务，十分惊喜意外。毕竟就我个人而言，对于社团活动方面的事务不是十分熟悉，管理能力也并不突出。能够成为英语社社长必须感谢前任社长对我的信任，感谢她给了我这样一个机会让我管理这个社团，我不会辜负他的厚望。我相信在社员们和我个人的努力下，英语社能够办得很好。将来我会争取更多人加入我们的活动，与我们一起在活动中进步，提高英语水平。

对于英语社的纪律问题，在我担任社长后我会更加重视。没有良好的纪律就不会有成功的活动，所以对于纪律我会对社员加以明确并定为明确规定，严格规范英语社的活动纪律，要求每位社员都严格遵守。每一次活动我都会对到场成员进行记录在册，未到场者将被记名如有未请假者就会被警告，两次不到场活动就会被除名。活动当中存在不当行为的也会受到记名惩罚并累计警告最后除名。作为信任的英语社社长我会严格规定考勤制度，保障活动顺利进行。

今后的活动将从下周三正式开始，所以我会好好安排活动内容。下周的第一次活动我会安排同学们进行英语活动的讨论，获得更好的活动方案，以后还会安排其他的课题让同学们用英语交流。为了提高同学们的活动兴趣，我会在活动中播放英文电影，并让同学们发表看法。活动中我也会让同学们展示自己的才艺，唱唱英文歌，进行话剧表演，使自己的个性充分发挥，同时欣赏别人独特的一面。在活动中我会做个表率，自己更多更好得参与，给社员做个好的榜样。希望在这一学期中英语社的活动能办得更好，在同学中赢得良好的口碑。

现在英语社有31位成员，将来我也会欢迎新成员加入，使我们英语社成为一个规模较大活动成功，管理有序的良好社团。如果我有做的不好的地方，只要同学们提出我就会改进，为了社团我会尽到我的责任，为社团服务。最后，希望我们的英语社能越办越好。

 

第四部分：社团成员

 

徐彦民(Susie)：

Self-introduction

I’m an active member in our English Club . My Chinese name is Xu Yanmin .And  my 

 

English name is Susie.

 

I’m  a  happy  girl  and   I almost  have  a  good  mood  all  the   time. I’m 

 

interested in  English  so  I  joined the English club  without  hesitation. I 

 

think, joining  the club’s  activities can  improve  my   English  so  that  it 

 

would  be  easier  for  me  to deal  with my English subject and communicate 

 

with  a  foreigner  in  the  future .

 

In fact, I have many hobbies. I’m a good student at school .And after school, I  play 

 

the  electronic  organ , and sometimes play table tennis  or  badminton  with  my  

 

parents, go swimming  with  my  friends, etc. Most importantly,  I’m  good  at 

 

singing and I  can   play chess  as  well.. 

 

 

对英语社的展望和建议

1.         赞同用英语进行场景游戏，就像上周进行的killer游戏，既可以学到一些常用单词，更能够锻炼口语能力，而且，动员了社员在活动中互相交流。我认为，只要大家慢慢都习惯了英语社这个说英语的环境，气氛就会逐渐活跃起来，大家都将能够在英语社中提高自己的英语口语能力。

2.         如果可能的话，可以在英语社中安排座位，并且轮换，使大家尽快熟悉起来，也可以设置活动小组，在小组中进行各种活动的英文讨论及汇报。

3.         可在上一次活动最后讨论好下一次的讨论题，再进行相关专题的讨论，让大家在座位上举手就可以发表观点，不用太正式，营造轻松的讨论氛围。让大家都敢说，只要说出来，就可以快速进步了。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

赵林翔（Peter）

Self-introduction

  Hello, my name is Zhao Linxiang, you can call me Peter.I’m in Grade1 Class15.

  I'm interested in English very much although my English isn't that good. When I first caught a glimpse of Flame, I chose it. To me, English is an international language, so we should grasp it. I also want to learn about other countries' culture, especially those in Europe and America. I dream of being a translator, and communicating with people all over the world one day.

    I like sports, swimming, badminton and so on. I think I am an optimistic and humorous boy who can get along well with friends, and I hope I can blend in this family, and work together with others to improve our English.

Flame,意为火焰、热情。英语社应是积极的面向一切和未来的，它的活动应是充满热情和快乐的，组织者和社员能在活动中体会到英语的魅力，了解到西方人的文化传统、习俗和生活方式。

    我认为，英语社可以将活动形式更加多样化。如：观看视频，欣赏音乐，集体游戏，竞赛辩论等（当然啦，活动费用可以多收一些。如果能在闲时广泛征集到社歌，社团口号那就更好了），让每次活动更加充实、丰富、有趣，让尽可能多的成员参与其中。同时，我认为我们社员也应该更加活跃，做好每次活动的充足准备工作，不浪费活动时间，更好地把握这个机会。

     我希望在新的一年里，英语社能越办越好，我相信它能不断给我们惊喜。

Self-introduction

My name is Jin Peiwen.I am from class 16.I have been in English club for a term, and I think I've learnt a lot.Ok,here are something about myself.I think I am a very expansive girl. I love making friends. And I enjoy all the new stuff. I prefer peaceful and easy life, but I will be very happy when I get the things I want for a long time through my hard work. I also love reading; I’ve read lots of novels. Annie, Cunshang, they are all my favorite writers. I learn a lot from their books especially when I was in a bad mood.

Films are also one of my intersts,and I enjoy scary movies, I never feel fear because I can gain access to special knowledge from it. This is me, a very easy girl hoping to be friends with you.

 

对英语社的展望和建议

在英语社待了一个学期，对英语社也算是熟悉了。想说的有不少，展望也有不少。自己是个比较腼腆的人，有的时候因为环境的不熟会羞涩不愿意表现自己，但有的时候活动气氛太沉闷了，像上课而不像是集体活动。所以，首先最期望的是大家变得更活跃，只有这样，大家才能一起交流和进步，英语社也才能越办越有意思。其次是希望活动的形式更加丰富。不局限与单一的游戏或是电影交流之类的。就像社长所说，这学期会增加室外的活动，我觉得这是一个good idea。但是在户外活动的内容，又是一个问题，最终当然还是希望所有的成员都enjoy themselves。这个社团很特殊，女生占大多数，这恰恰是我们社团的优势所在，大家都是女生，想法上应该会更加有统一性，行动上也能更加团结。我想经过一个学期了一个学期，大家估计对彼此的熟悉程度都有所加深，也不会那么拘谨，以后能有更加出色的表现。当然，团结还是最重要的，只有共同努力和参与到活动中，才能带动起英语社，让她成为八中所向无敌的社团。

My name is Dai Ximeng and I’m from Class 28, Grade 1.I`m glad to join in the English club. I believe that all of us can get on well with each other. I like playing the piano, listening to music and reading movies. My favorite singer is Vae, a talented and handsome young singer .My favorite novel is Twilight, which is one of the most famous novels today. In the story I love Edward Cullen best. He is a perfect vampire…Well, at least I think so. I also like Avril from Canada. I like her song“I will be”and“When you are gone” best. I’m sure many teenagers like her as well.
     I like making friends and I want everyone to be my friends!

Hello everybody! I’m so glad to introduce myself here! First of all, my name is Zhong

 

Minjing and my English name is Millie. I'm in Class 19 Grade 1. I'm 16 years old.

 

I’m a girl who likes smiling and is very out-going. As a merit, I think I'm easy to get

 

along with. I’m interest in sleeping, eating and reading. In my opinion, these are the

 

most beautiful things in the world. Sleeping and eating make me energetic and reading

 

makes me wise. Nothing could be better, what a wonderful life I have with them!!

 

Now I 'm in senior high school and I think the studying life is a bit busy.  So I must

 

learn to arrange my time and be hard .I believe myself! And I believe I will succeed

 

eventually. Fighting~!

    一：在活动过程中对于社员发言不积极的现象可以采取抽签回答问题的办法的办法；

    二：多开展英语交流活动，互讲英语笑话;

    三：适当的开展户外活动；

    四：可对于社会或学校里比较热点的话题分小组展开讨论；

    五：适当进行一些英语游戏

    六：组织大家展示自己学习英语的方法；

    七：开展一些与英语有关的比赛（唱歌除外）。

Ｍｙ　name is　Li Ying. I’m an active，lovely and clever girl. In the school，my favorite

 

subject is math. Perhaps someone thinks it’s difficult to study well, but I like it. I

 

believe that if you try your best，everything can be done well. I devoted myself to my

 

studies and paid attention to all meaningful things happened in daily life. I also like

 

traveling and I have been to many places. I like sitting on the playground and watch

 

the sunset. I think the nature is the best teacher.

我希望英语社多做有意思的游戏，建议如下

1：先分成多组进行游戏

条件允许的话可以先把课室布置一下，把课桌摆成迷宫，若要简单就空一块地方中途摆上障碍物

由老师或对手一方在课室内选任何一样东西作为目标物，在课室任何一个地方，与其他东西放在一起。

由我方选出两名同学，在统一的起点，一个蒙眼听号令做动作,中途任何人不能触碰蒙眼同学，另一个用英文发号令（例如，go straight, take 3 steps, turn left, turn right, go on,stop,stride across sth,turn little left, turn little right, mind the steps, raise you leg, go up to the platform ,bend down, touch the chair, pick it up ）

到目标物前让蒙眼同学停下，由我方的同学用英文描述目标物的特征但是不能说出是什么，(例如：It is used for writing. It contains some textbooks. It is made of iron/cloth.)

蒙眼同学用手在几样东西中摸出目标物，用最短的时间找出目标物的一组为胜方

2：Simon says ，考反应能力。 

一个人发布命令，如”Simon says, Thumps up.” 

“Simon says, touch your head”, “Simon says, point up.” Etc., 其他人听到这些Simon的指令要跟着做这些动作.如果她不说Simon says, 只是说”Thumps up.而其他人把拇指竖起, 那么这个人就出局了.谁能坚持到最后, 谁就赢了这个游戏. 

 

第五部分：社长介绍

大家好，我是Flame的现任社长，来自高一22班的钟夏妮（Amanda）。我对英语有浓厚的兴趣，不仅担任英语社社长一职，还是校园广播英文节目的主持人之一。我喜欢阅读、听广播、听音乐……对我来说，英语就像是一把钥匙，帮我打开了一扇扇门，让我实现了无数可能。对于自己的实力，我还是很有信心的，也确定自己能办好这个社团，将原有的特色保持，并逐渐探索出自己的风格，让每个社员感受到集体的力量是无穷的，让每个社员可以骄傲地说：我是合肥八中英语社的人！

 

我曾在2009年的希望之星英语风采大赛初中组获得全国前十的佳绩， 那次的经历让我认识到山外有山，人外有人，同时，与全国的英语精英汇聚一堂学习交流，是一种非常宝贵的体验。有了这些经历，我更加坚信，自己的英语实力以及热情能够将英语社办好，让它成为八中一个有特色的社团！

总而言之，我是一个活泼开朗、信心十足、并且还算聪明机灵的人~

英语社让我增强了责任感和使命感，让我在不断地探索中学习到宝贵的经验。

                       第六部分：副社长介绍

大家好，我是英语社副社长孙娜娜。

我是一个有热情有活力的女孩，平时喜欢与朋友们一起happy、听歌、看电影、照相等等。成为英语社的副社长让我非常意外和荣幸，我想也许是我热情开朗的性格以及乐于助人的品质让前社长挑选我担任此职。在英语社的工作，培养了我的团队协作意识和临场应变能力，让我蜕变成一个更为成熟、勇敢的人。

上学期我们有过辩论、合唱、故事接龙、猜词游戏、宫廷礼仪介绍等活动，形式多样花样翻新，大家都很尽兴。这学期我们增设了多媒体活动、室外活动，更加让社员感受到飞梦的力量。现在，flame对我们就像一个温暖的家庭，我相信我们会走向辉煌！

我与社长的合作非常融洽，我们希望一起将飞梦社办好，不辜负社员们的期望！

 

第七部分：社团展示

今年，本社团将在社团汇演中呈现一出英语短剧，名为《Christmas in my Heart》，剧本由社长撰写并亲自挑选有能力有热情的社员参演。

Christmas in my Heart

 

Theme:

Karen is a lonely girl facing various problems, about family, friendship as well

 

as study life. On Christmas Eve, she’s wondering in the streets while everyone

 

is rushing home to join their family reunions. No one pays attention to this

 

Nothing but ordinary girl, therefore she doesn’t believe in miracles any more.

 

But sincerely, she’s hoping Santa to come and warm up her frozen heart,

 

because it is the coldest Christmas she’s ever had….（凯伦是一个孤独的女孩，她面对着各种来自家庭、朋友、学校的烦恼。一个平安夜，在所有人都与家人团聚之时，她独自徘徊在空荡的大街上，没有人注意这个平凡无奇的女孩。因此，她不再相信奇迹，但内心里，她却真诚的希望圣诞老人来到她身边，温暖她冷冻的心扉。因为，这是她所过的最寒冷的圣诞节……）

These are my parents, they’re always quarreling.

Dad: what the hell are you saying, greedy woman?

Mom: stop pointing at me, jerk! Do you think you are a successful man? Nearer! Christmas presents aren’t paper roses or fake necklace!

Dad: You’ve been so demanding and remember, I’m a man, not an ATM cash machine! Why don’t you pay attention to Karen? She’s doing badly at school!

Mom: my fault? Do you ever ask about her study?

(They stop)   (“Because of you” plays)

 

 

Karen: It’s getting cold……

Teacher 1: Karen!

Karen: What?

T 1: Look at your test paper! You’re doing badly in history!

K: Sorry, I…

T 2: Karen! Why don’t you finish your work?

K: That’s…

T 1: Bring your parents here to see me!

T 2: And me!

K: Stop!!! (In great pain)

(The teachers stop)

K: Maybe, my friends can give me some comfort? Lauren?

Lauren: Who’s calling me? Oh, the poor thing Karen, my ex-friend?

Nick: Why should we be friends with you?

Andy: Hey, she’s nothing but an ugly duck.

Nela: well, just look at yourself, so ordinary and short, with a poor family and poor grades, I can’t see anything special about you. I’m the kind of girl who deserves good friends and all best things in the world. Btw, you, just a small screw.

(Laughs with the 3 friends)

(Karen leave them and sit down next to the sidewalk, crying sadly. she lost the belief of miracles and Santa Claus)

(The Christmas choir comes in a line)

Leader: what a night! I can feel X-mas in the air! We are—

A: x! B: Dash! C: m! D: a! E: s! F: c! G: h! H: o! I: i! J: r!

Together: Saint Christmas Choir!

Leader: we’re about to sing carols for poor kids in the orphanage(孤儿院)

A: Yeah! For those lovely things!

B: What about the song?

C: Christmas in my Heart, I love it!

Together: Yeah, we do!

(Chattering) 七嘴八舌

E: Wait, is that a girl crying?

G: Maybe…let’s see

J: Hello? Why are you crying?

Karen: Nothing

F: It’s X-mas, you should be happy!

Karen: Being happy? With my parents getting divorce, my friends’ betrayal? There’s nothing left in my life!

Leader: How could you think that way? Umm…

(They whisper one by one ) 互相传话

Leader: In fact, you should believe in miracles, because Santa Claus has a special gift for you…

(Christmas in my heart plays, dances begins)

 

Leader: Let’s go to sing carols for poor children, ok?

D: Yeah, come with us, there are so many to enjoy in this world!

H: Come quick, Santa Claus is waiting for us!

I: I can see the reindeer!
