Report of the First Activity of Guitar Club

      This Thursday, we developed the first activity of guitar club, It was the moment we commune member had been waiting for a long time. First, thank teachers and director of international department for supporting and giving us the free space to develop our hobby.

      In the first activity, we mainly talked about speculative knowledge of guitar.

1.      The brief developing history of guitar. the ancestors of guitar can be traced back to various kinds of ancient plucked-string instrument in ancient of Egypt before three thousand years BC. Archaeologists find the oldest resemble modern guitar instruments is the Hitesguitar in BC 1400 years ago. In the late 19th century renowned guitar musician’s many creation became the excellent works in classic guitar in the nineteenth century. Guitar became the popular decorous instrument as piano and violin that people love world widely, has also attracted many professional composer to write many high levels music works.

2.      The type of guitar. Guitar can be roughly divided into acoustic guitar (such as classical guitars, folk guitars, flamenco guitars) and electric guitar (such as standard electric guitar and bass electric guitar) in according to different structure and sound principle.

      This is the speculative knowledge of guitar. Then, I introduced the tablature of guitar to newcomers, and taught them the basic fingering.

      Finally, we used the rest of time to practicing.

     So much for this, and I hope the following activities will develop better.
