The 1^st two-week Excellent Homework Appraisal of International Department has officially kicked in on the 8^thof December. After a two-day homework collection, thousands of copies ofhomework have been scrutinized on the 15^th and 16^thDecember. Finally altogether more than 100 copies of homework have been selected as “Excellent Homework “ from both Grade 10 and Grade 11. Students also expressed their resolution to have their own homework on the display boardin the future.

The Student Management Union (SMU) of International Department in NO.8 High School consists of two branches of Grade10 and Grade 11. This union directly reports to the Dean of the International Department and is responsible for all students in the International Department.Its members include key persons from Study Department of Student Union in each grade and study commissary from each class.        

    SMU is mainly responsiblefor the assessment and reporting of teaching affairs, including but not limited to the qualities of teaching, homework and grading, based on the curriculum setting for each grade. It fundamentally aims to improve the teaching quality and interaction between faculty and students, to achieve a better study atmosphere.
